Darwin F. Johnson
About
Darwin F. Johnson, the premier Georgia workers’ comp lawyer, graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida in 1999 with a dual Bachelor of Arts in History and Sociology. He received his Juris Doctorate law degree from Florida State University in 2003.
After graduating from law school, Johnson went to work as a Senior Staff Attorney to the Honorable Michael P. Baird in Clayton County, Georgia. As an attorney working within the Georgia court system, he witnessed first-hand the lengths to which insurance companies would go to avoid paying injured workers and those injured due to the negligence of others.
Mr. Johnson found this behavior to be disturbing, and because he wanted to use his education in law to actually help people, he decided fighting for the rights of injured individuals was a noble and worthwhile pursuit. In order to combat the unjust strategies of insurance companies, Johnson focused his practice on workers’ compensation in Atlanta.
In 2004 he joined forces with workers’ comp attorney Louis B. Lusk. Together they spent five years battling insurance companies on behalf of people just like you. He’s handled over 10,000 cases to date, and has won or settled over $500 million in workers’ compensation and personal injury claims.
Today, Darwin Johnson has become one of Atlanta’s premier workers’ compensation attorneys, and continues to specialize in the representation of injured workers in cases before the Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation.
He also represents individuals who have been injured due to the negligence or willful misconduct of others in personal injury cases. Mr. Johnson is a licensed workers’ compensation lawyer in all State and Superior Courts throughout Georgia, and he is eager to help you!
